Vinícius Zavam

Systems Administrator

From brazil, but instead of samba and soccer, was playing with a TK 85 and learning different languages as a hobby – though he could never give up his havaianas.

During his high school years, he was drawn to the use and benefits of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). Later becoming a FreeBSD ports committer.

For the past 7 years Vinícius has been a volunteer on the TorBSD Diversity Project (TDP), working to get more Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PET) support for BSD operating systems.

Vinícius is also a Core Team member of the Tor Project, apart from that he’s one of many volunteers that operate Tor bridges. And lastly, when it comes to bikes, it is fixed gears all the way.
