Maggie

Maggie is the Documentation Coordinator for Access Now’s Digital Security Helpline. She ensures that the Helpline team has the resources they need to solve problems and uplift others, and fosters collaborations with other help desks and civil society organizations. Before joining the Access Now team, she was a User Advocate with the Tor Project as part of her Mozilla/Ford Open Web Fellowship. During her fellowship, Maggie spent her time thinking about how we can protect against online harassment, and how to best support survivors through the recovery process. Maggie also worked in the video games industry for 3 years, which means she’ll always win in Mario Kart 8. In her down time you can find her with her nose in a good sci-fi book.
