Juliana Castro
Senior Designer
Juliana Castro Varón is the Senior Designer at Access Now. She is a Colombian graphic designer, Fulbright alumna, and the founder of Cita Press, an open-access feminist digital library and publishing resource, for which she received a Latin American Design Award. Before working for Access Now, Juliana worked at the Berkman Klein Center for the Internet at Harvard University and for museums and art galleries in Austin, Cambridge, New York, and Bogota. Juliana holds an MFA in Design from the University of Texas at Austin and completed her undergraduate education at the National University of Colombia and the Politecnico di Torino in Italy. She speaks fluent Spanish, Italian, English, Celsius, and Centimeters.
