Golda is Access Now’s Asia-Pacific Campaigner and works on various issues, including content governance, freedom of expression, surveillance, and shutdowns. Having started as a grassroots lawyer for farmers and workers, Golda shaped her work via litigation, policy advocacy, and campaigning. She used to be chief for legislation for a senator in the Philippines and continues to serve as a consultant to two ministries. Golda holds a master’s degree in international commercial arbitration law from Stockholm University and is a licensed attorney in the Philippines. She previously worked with the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre as Programme Director for Asia, Labour, and Corporate Legal Accountability.
