Carolina Goncalves Berenger
Summer Policy Intern
Carolina is a Summer Policy Intern at Access Now. She holds an LL.M degree in International Legal Studies from New York University (NYU) School of Law, where she explored the complexity of data and the impacts of technology on law. At NYU, she joined the International Organizations Clinic and worked as research assistant at the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice and the Global Justice Clinic. Carolina also holds an LLB from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). During her bachelor’s degree, she engaged in research projects on freedom of expression cases before Brazilian courts and the European Court of Human Rights. She has previously worked on civil litigation and intellectual property at law firms in Brazil, where she is admitted to practice.
