Adriana Fernández

Adriana is the Senior Coordinator for Community Engagement at RightsCon. She works on designing, managing, and implementing our engagement strategies across stakeholders and regions. Her role involves stakeholder mapping, community outreach, strategic communication, and cultivating relationships with local and global partners. Previously, Adriana worked executing projects on human rights, public policy, and advocacy in alliance with partners such as UNDP, UNHCR, Oxfam, Inter-American Development Bank, FLACSO, and local governments in Costa Rica. She has also worked as a project manager and lecturer at the University of Costa Rica, focusing on topics such as migration, ICT4D, and social policy. Adriana holds a Master's in International Development with an emphasis in ICT4D from Wageningen University, a Master's in Digital Communication from Paris Lodron University, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Costa Rica.
